Barb Berrett is the Energy Services Engineer for the City of St. George and manages the Engineering Division for the department. She moved to Southern Utah in 1993 after graduating from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. She received her Professional Engineering License in 1999.
Barb has worked for the private and public engineering sectors for 28 years and has worked on several water, irrigation, wastewater, and energy projects in the St. George area, as a designer and project manager.
She is a member of the American Public Works Association (APWA) and served as the Chapter President in 2002, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Public Power Association (APPA), and American Association of University Women (AAUW). She has volunteered for Switchpoint, Big Brothers Big Sisters in Southern Utah and supports local nonprofit organizations in the St. George area.
She enjoys living in St. George because of all the recreational opportunities available. Her hobbies include hiking, golfing, playing the guitar, singing and art.
