Sierra Lewis

Sierra Lewis
Sierra Lewis

Sierra loves understanding what evokes emotion in people, how to create quality art and connecting with others. She works in oil paint with a focus on the figure and portraits but maintains a skill level in other mediums and subjects. Along with paint, she continues to work in graphite, charcoal, and colored pencil. A tool as simple as a pencil can turn stunning reality into a single moment. Her process of creating art includes live models and photos; by using both it brings life to the final product.

Inspired and molded by her parents and teachers, growing up held consistent encouragement for her passion to create work as the art world is constantly changing. Sierra pulls inspiration from contemporary artists of today, yet still admires the classic detail and naturalism of Northern Renaissance period artists.

Beauty is gifted to everyone by existing in everything we see and touch – if you look for it, you will find it. As a working artist, she creates pieces to show her interpretation of beauty in the world. Her inspiration draws from interactions between people and their emotional connections. Sierra believes the human body is the most beautiful creation, and moments of interaction should be captured.

Vlad Mel

Vlad is a concept artist specializing in freehand digital paintings of environments and atmospheric landscapes that resemble various parts of our world. His goal is to connect with viewers by encouraging them to make their own interpretations as they’re reminded of their favorite themes and travel locations.

With a BFA in Media Arts and a well-worn painting tablet, Vlad has been working in the video game development industry since 2009. Communicating through lighting and color, he designs immersive environments where in their mind’s eye viewers could feel the cool breeze of a mountain or smell the pungent sulfur from a volcano vent nearby.

Born in Moldova, Vlad came to the U.S. as a child in the 1990s and grew up in the Pacific Northwest. Travel and exploration are an integral part of his background, and throughout the years he visited nearly a dozen countries across the world, eventually relocating to the Southwest to be closer to the desert landscape.
