Bachelor of Fine Arts/ Sculpture; University of Minnesota, 1970; Master of Fine Arts/Sculpture 1973. I moved from Minnesota to Arizona in 1971 to pursue the MFA, fell in love with the Southwest, and made Arizona my home.
I have created over 700 sculptures ranging from inches to 29 feet; many sculptures are in a single metal, such as stainless alone, or copper alone; many sculptures in stainless steel and copper in combination, lately with accents of glass. Virtually all of my work has a geometric form as a starting point.

REDONDO #1 is stainless steel, copper and glass; I have always worked in the abstract forms. While a graduate student, and working part time in a metal shop, I learned to weld copper to stainless, which few people if any, know how to do.
