Together by Nate Brimhall is a sculptural expression of unity, connection, and shared energy.
Formed as two hands coming together, the piece symbolizes the power created through cooperation and collective effort. The sculpture invites interaction, encouraging viewers to place a hand at its center and become part of the experience themselves.
Brimhall’s work often explores the ways people connect with one another and the world around them. In Together, that idea becomes both physical and symbolic. The joining forms suggest that human energy is amplified through collaboration, where working together creates something greater than what could be achieved alone.
Using simplified forms and large-scale steel construction, Brimhall creates sculptures that encourage moments of pause and reflection. His work is designed not only to be observed, but experienced. Themes such as awareness, hope, integrity, gratitude, and grace run throughout his practice, offering opportunities for viewers to engage emotionally as well as visually.
Based in South Jordan, Utah, Brimhall began his artistic journey at the University of Utah. His sculptures draw from personal experience and a deep interest in community and human connection. Through his work, he continues to create spaces for reflection, interaction, and shared understanding.

Ubuntu – 2021
Ubuntu is an African word…or more specifically, it’s a way of being, that has been described as: “I am because you are. You are because I am. Humanity in all things.” To the artist, the word Ubuntu means “We are each other. There is space and a place for each of us; we all fit and are part of one. I see you. I AM.”
