Playing with Squares and Curves 2 explores the tension between balance, weight, and movement through a deceptively simple form.
Geometric elements shift between stability and motion, where solid shapes feel unexpectedly light and playful. The sculpture invites a physical response, asking viewers to sense the push and pull between structure and fluidity.
Balance and tension have long been central themes in the artist’s work. Pieces are often approached like a haiku, using minimal form to communicate something larger and more complex. Rather than aiming for perfection in a single work, each sculpture becomes part of an ongoing exploration, where shapes and configurations evolve over time into a broader visual language.

The artist began their formal training at the Talma Yellin High School for the Arts in Israel, followed by continued study at an art academy. After traveling extensively through Africa, they pursued graduate studies in the United States, earning an MFA from the California College of the Arts. Their career has included teaching sculpture at University of California, Santa Cruz and San Francisco State University, along with exhibitions in San Francisco and New York.
Throughout their career, the driving force has remained the act of making itself. Recognition has come through awards and exhibitions, but the deeper motivation lies in the process. The work reflects an ongoing commitment to creating, exploring, and expressing ideas through form, where each piece contributes to a larger, evolving body of work.
