Emissaries of Light by Marcia Robinson-Rouse

Emissaries of Light

This sculpture was created when Marcia was awakened in the night with a vision that seemed  both angelic and organic. Marcia had the sense that the being lived between our world and the  heavens, acting as a messenger to stand by our side and guide us through the journey of our  life. She now calls this series “Emissaries of Light.” Marcia hopes to enhance people through her creativity; to bring joy, inspiration, or a sense of peace and healing through her art.

Meet the Artist

Marcia Robinson-Rouse

Marcia’s journey as a sculptor began in 1966 when a friend introduced her to the art of stone carving. Two years later, Marcia participated in an intensive marble-carving workshop with a  master stone carver in Pietrasanta, Italy. Subsequently, Marcia has exhibited in shows and galleries throughout the country, including six consecutive years in the Loveland Sculpture in  The Park show in Loveland, Colorado. Recently, Marcia’s cast marble angel, “Millennia – The  Angel of Faith,” was installed in front of the Women’s and Newborn Center at Dixie Regional  Medical Center in St. George, Utah. Her work continues to be focused on the essence of the feminine, whether human or angelic in form, always with the goal of bringing joy, inspiration,  peace, and healing to all who view it.
